The children at Children's Place Daisy Hill have been learning about Autumn. They have noticed that the leaves on the trees have changed colour. They showed a lot of interest in the leaves that have fallen off the trees and the different colours they could see.
The Pre-school children at Daisy Hill visit the woods weekly. The children have enjoyed going on a mini beast hunt and playing hide and seek this week. The children in the Bluebell room have been enjoying doing lots of sensory activities and exploring lots of different materials. This supports the children with communication and language, mathematical development as well as being lots of fun!
The Rams Under Seven's team, who Children's Place sponsor, played their last match before Christmas and won 4-1!!!! All received a Christmas gift bag and are very excited for the big day. They wish all at Children's Place a very Merry Christmas and a Happy 2022!

The children from the Bluebells room have been constructing with different sized wooden blocks. They are developing their awareness of space, shape and measure, fine and gross motor skills, working together and creating and thinking critically.
