Daisy Hill Day Nursery
Come and join our babies, toddlers and pre-school children at our Daisy Hill Children’s Place Day Nursery!
We work in partnership with Bradford District Care NHS Foundation Trust and Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust to offer high quality childcare to all NHS staff and other parents wishing to place their child at our well established nursery. We work closely with the Trust Childcare Support Services to ensure that we meet the needs of parents and families requiring flexibility and on site provision.
In all our four, rooms catering for ages 0-5 years, children are given lots of opportunity to explore, play and develop. Our separate and free flow outdoor play provisions are specially tailored for all children whatever the weather.
Drawing, colouring, painting, dressing-up, sand and water play and construction are all part of the everyday discovery and imaginative play the children can access.
Daisy Hill’s staff are highly qualified. A trained Forest School practitioner works within our setting and our pre-school children make six weekly visits to our Woodland Nursery in Heaton; this experience gives the children the chance to explore the great outdoors. They have sledged in snowy weather, held teddy bear picnics and treasure hunts as well as looking at the insects and the birds. We have lots of fun!

Ofsted Rating
In February 2019, Daisy Hill Children’s Place was graded ‘Good’ by Ofsted and it was recognised that “children are well supported as they transition between rooms and prepare to leave for school. Staff plan and prepare for these times very well.”
